Baptism is the gift of our Lord Jesus Christ.
When Jesus had risen from the dead, he commanded his followers to go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Baptism is the sacrament by which God adopts us as his children and we come into the life of the church.
Baptisms are by arrangement with the Vicar and are usually conducted during the 10.00 am service. They will involve some preparation with the parents and godparents by meeting with the Vicar.
